Mini Mil Tac™ has been developed by QAD Networks to provide an extremely rugged non-metallic deployable cable suitable for a wide range of field applications including military tactical communications and outside broadcast HD TV distribution. The 3.4mm outer diameter and lightweight design saves space and weight improving transport ability.

 

Mini Mil Tac™ consists of 2 buffered optical fibres, surrounded with aramid yarn strength members and a robust polyurethane outer jacket that is resistant to oils and grease and offers a high resistance to abrasion. Available in MM and SM and all fibres are Bend Insensitive which can compensate for tight installation situations.

 

Mini Mil Tac™ cable is produced with an extremely tight construction ensuring minimal fibre movement within the jacket on deployment and re-winding. This provides excellent compatibility with multichannel harsh environment connectors whilst simplifying termination and improving performance, stability and reliability.
